Thank you so much for this prayers thread and for the candles.
I don't have anything new to tell right now, I had Charly on phone again, but he could only talk to her very briefly as nurses were in her room to do some care and asked to stop the communication. From my side I could also not speak to her as the line is always occupied.
I'll go to my parents in law tomorrow noon, my brother in law will also be there (not my SIL's husband, but her brother) and I know he could speak to her and also to their other brother who's living in the same town as she does. I think I will then have more precise informations, as, as I told Halexzo, the only information I have from my side came from my Father in law yesterday evening, and he was in such a panic that he could't explain me precisely what was going on.
The only thing I know is that after one week severe headaches and strong medication with no improving, she went to hospital to make a scanner. They found out that her 2 cervical arteries were very weak and damaged and that they were almost"broken" so they did transfer her immediately to intensive care unit where she under blood transfusion and anticoagulant is.
I'll keep you informed as soon as I will know more.
Thank you again for the prayers, though I think she's not believing, I now how precious and helpful the power of prayers can be...
Edited to add an updateI could at last manage to have one of my brothers in law on the phone. In fact she has a light break of anevrism on the 2 arteries. One is more severe then the other. They do still investigate why it happened, as the first question from the medical staff was if she had an accident recently (she didn't). The place and the damage done to the arteries , as well as the hematoms associated are usually only seen in case of accidents, so they don't understand and still do search the reason. As for now they do put by side the "from birth" (sorry I don't know how to explain) weakness.
Right now the treatment consists in anticoagulant, but as they're not sure it will be enough, surgery can also be an option if anticoagulant don't improve her state.
I will also try to get his husband on the phone, but later this evening as he's certainly at her side at hospital right now, and will keep you informed as soon as I know more.
